About Adam
My name is Adam and I'm a scuba diving enthusiast from Southern Australia. I first started diving South Aussie dive sites such as Rapid Bay Jetty and Second Valley in the late 1980’s, both sites are home to the infamous Leafy Sea Dragon. A keen diver until the mid 1990’s when other life priorities took over. Fast forward a few years and whilst travelling Vietnam in 2006 the passion was re-ignited. After a number of days laying about on the beaches of Nha Trang I lined up a dive. Instantly, I was again hooked...
Shortly after returning from Vietnam I purchased my first underwater camera housing for a Panasonic Lumix. An instant hit, being able
to mix Scuba diving and photography (another of my hobbies) was my new favourite thing. Fast forward a few more years and Asia Pacific dive holidays
later, my kit now consists of a Canon 5D, a range of lenses, dual strobes and multiple diopters all in Ikelite housing.
The most recent acquisition includes a DJI Phantom 4 Pro which gives me a birds eye view above the water to create the full package.
The real passion of scuba photography is the thrill of never knowing if your about to meet a 15 foot shark or a microscopic nudi-branch or anything in-between, all the while capturing the beauty of life below the waves.
Whilst I continue to hold down a full time career in the IT industry I have extended this passion of underwater photography into a number commercial agreements within the Asia Pacific region and grown the hobby into a service. I'm happy to discuss commercial assignments requiring underwater photography and videography services.
